    We are seeking an Environmental Business Development Specialist to play a crucial role in our growing team. Thriving in a fast-paced and dynamic environment;
    Enjoying a flexible office work schedule with work-from-home options;
    Having substantial autonomy to explore exciting new business opportunities;
    Influencing and learning about various aspects of the environmental industry; Identify and pursue new business opportunities across diverse sectors such as oil & gas, mining, renewables, government, non-profit and others;
    Implement a customer relationship management system to foster strong relationships with new and existing clients and key stakeholders;
    Leverage technical expertise in environmental science (i.e., aquatics, wildlife, wetland, vegetation and GIS disciplines) to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions;
    Collaborate with technical teams to ensure accurate project scoping and proposal development;
    Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and potential areas for business growth;
    Be accountable for AJM's business development-related KPI's;
    Attend industry conferences, workshops, and networking events to promote the AJM Environmental and establish a strong professional presence.
    Minimum of Bachelor's or advanced degree in Biology, Ecology, Environmental Science, Business Administration or related discipline;
    Proven experience in the environmental field with deep familiarity of industry sectors and clients;
    Strong technical background and registered (or ability to register) as a Professional Biologist in Alberta and/or BC (considered an asset);
    A willingness to go the extra mile, coupled with self-starting abilities in a demanding team environment;
    Technical writing skills (considered an asset);
    Willingness to travel to client meetings, conferences and project sites as required;
    Entrepreneurial spirited with solid business acumen.
