    Sobeys is full of exciting opportunities, and we are looking for top talent to join our team We have a contract opportunity for a great entry level role as Benefits Administration.

    Here's where you'll be focusing:

    • Manage, respond, and triage inquiries received in the Group Benefits inbox
    • Administration of the Corporate YouFlex plan; which can include employee enrollment, benefit packages, benefit expiry, and leaves
    • Maintain and support Corporate/Franchise weekly master data error and payroll deduction files along with benefit premium arrears
    • Responsible for the administration of retiree benefit programs including invoices, liaising with payroll and vendors, scanning documents into the system
    • Responsible for program audits such as work contract audits
    • Assist with the development of appropriate employee communications and functional documentation including procedure manuals, issues log, benefit summaries, standard correspondence, and bulletins
    • Responsible for accurate benefit records within SAP and various vendor systems
    • Identify new business policies, processes, and strategies to improve efficiency and mitigate risk of Benefit Administration and related HR practices
    • Ensure consistent Benefit Administration practices are adhered to
    • Support strategic Benefit initiatives as needed

    What you have to offer:

    • 1 - 2 years Benefits or Human Resources experience an asset
    • High school Diploma or certification in CEBS, Human Resources or associated field
    • High proficiency in Excel
    • SAP Experience
