    Assistant General Manager

    Reporting directly to the Regional General Manager, the Assistant General Manager is a true hospitality professional at heart who has a strong background in venue operations and knows how to throw a party. This leader is responsible for creating positive shareable experiences for guests and employees in our venues, late nights and weekends, as well as driving the business through community outreach

    The Role

    • Ensure smooth service by overseeing established standards, monitoring quality, and promptly addressing issues to maintain customer satisfaction.
    • Monitor and adjust staffing levels to meet operational demands, coordinating with RGM, managing schedules, and proactively addressing shortages or overages.
    • Coordinate daily venue operations, including pre-shift huddles to communicate goals, updates, and expectations, fostering teamwork and alignment.
    • Implement and enforce safety protocols to create a secure environment for employees and guests, regularly assessing and addressing concerns.
    • Handle guest complaints and conflicts professionally, training staff to resolve issues efficiently and in line with company policies.
    • Recruit, onboard, and train Front of House Team members on operational standards and Steps of Service.
    • Collaborate with hospitality marketing to develop revenue-driving events and initiatives enhancing customer engagement.
    • Engage with guests and pedestrians outside the venue to attract foot traffic and represent the brand positively.
    • Communicate Par-Tee-Putt's vision and values to staff and guests, ensuring operational decisions align with the brand's integrity and consistency.

    Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

    • Valid Smart Serve Certificate required
    • Experience in Hospitality /Food and Beverage required
    • A passion and commitment to quality guest service and hospitality
    • Experience using software systems including Square & 7Rooms (training provided)
    • Demonstrated ability to hire, retain, and engage team members
    • Experience leading a team with the ability to coach, delegate and support
    • Strong problem solving skills
    • Exceptional customer service skills
    • Ability to work calmly and effectively during peak times
    • Meet productivity standards and complete work using time efficiently
