    Description

    Role: Oracle Database Support

    Location: Calgary, Canada

    Duration: Contract

    Responsibilities:

    • Minimum 4-5 years of experience in Oracle D2K, PL/SQL environment to:
    • Follow internal processes meticulously.
    • Document transitions effectively.
    • Resolve tickets within SLA on a daily basis.
    • Focus on enhancing client experience and continuously improving services.
    • Report to Leads outside the local region, and assist in preparing status reports.
    • Review code, conduct programming, and test software to ensure quality.
    • Participate in Documentation - KEDB - Recovery & Resolution procedures.
    • Analyze business functions and data discrepancies.
    • Communicate efficiently with global team members and business users at all levels.
    • Share on-call responsibilities on a rotational basis once proficient.
    • Work in the Energy and manufacturing sector.
    • Adaptability to work in Maintenance/Support Development Projects.
    • Perform various testing forms including unit, system, regression, integration, performance, and volume.
    • Experience in code management and versioning techniques.
    • Openness to learning new technologies on the job.

    Preferred Qualification:

    • Self-motivated and proactive professional.
    • Strong customer service orientation.
    • Familiarity with Production support activities (bonus)
    • Proficiency in data analysis.
    • Customer-centric approach.
    • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Interest in learning Product/Platform and related technologies.
    • Capability to adopt new processes and tools.
    • Technical expertise in products/services and/or supported ecosystem.
    • Collaborative team player who takes initiative to solve team challenges.
