- Maintains data and reporting tosupport sales function
- Gathers data through multiplesources to create reports on Speed to Shelf, Display initiatives,negotiated cases, provide insights to drive Mega Brand Sales andefficiency in Retail
- Creates and runs reports utilizingadvanced Excel skills to perform complex analytics that drive insights andactionable items. Resolves outstanding issues with little or no guidance.
- To provide key analytical supportto the Director, Senior Business Development Manager and BusinessDevelopment Manager to ensure delivery against their key business metrics.
- Provide BDMs quality informationand help with recommendations for all Pillars of the business
- Analyze data resulting insights tosupport category growth for accounts within the customer portfolio
- Identify baseline/displayopportunities, conducting post-analysis of activities and sharing bestpractices across the team
- Responsibility for NationalClearout and Liquidation Process and Customers.
- Manage the execution andcommunication between BDMs and the Retail Team to ensure accurate andtimely communication of period planners
- Communicate and provide the RetailTeam with display and flyer information 6-8 weeks prior to help Field Repsexecute and prioritize plans for Walmart
- Lead execution behind allinnovation launches (sell sheet, distribution results, POG implementationetc.,)
- Develop strong relationships withbanner champions & regional District Sales Manager to gather feedbackon execution gaps and action as needed
- Work with customer team to confirmtiming of key retail communication and cascade to retail team to maximizesales opportunities against key activity
- Review pricing across all Conagra& competitive brands to identify key gaps within the banners andregional market
- Utilizes syndicated data andappropriate tools to identify trends in market share and distribution todrive the business.
- Identify gaps between consumption,supply, & sales to ensure Field Reps optimize inventory
- Spend 1-4 days per month in thefield with territory managers, business development managers, customer,etc., to help facilitate execution against key priorities
- Leads the analytical efforts forthe team, providing development and training for the sales analysts tostrengthen their skill sets.
- Seen as field expert withcorporate team. May assist corporate team/departments with higher leveldata gathering or problem solving
- Provide detailed ongoing analysison baseline and promoted volume leveraging monthly Nielsen reports /Retail Link
- Work with A/R to summarize sellthrough results on prior promotions to identify volume trends on keypromotions
- Manage all display ready palletand pre-pack forecasts to ensure 100% sell through of customer commitments& on-time delivery
- Attend bi-weekly BusinessDevelopment Manager meetings to ensure better understand competitiveactivity and sales impact on past / future promotions
- Work with Business DevelopmentManager to ensure accurate reporting / explanations for monthly consensusmeetings
- Create and update complex reportsusing raw data
- Helps to maintain TMA and ensurechanges to deals and forecasts are entered into the system on a timelyfashion
- Maintain customer master pricinggrid and work with BDMs to update for new product launches
- Work with A/R to ensure timelyresolution of deductions / issues
- Provide timely updates to DemandPlanning / Sales Finance on major changes to forecast
- Work with Customer Service toresolve pricing discrepancies
- Own Team Weekly Agenda and TEAMsdatabase and environment for access and organization for the team.
- Work with Sales Finance to updatemonthly reviews and cascade to other regions
- Ensure all internal trackers /templates are complete and 100% accurate
- Build relationship with keycustomer contacts to ensure package graphics are up to date / accuratelisting database
- Work with category management teamto streamline all customer presentation decks to ensure they are "customerready"
- Provide "back-up" support duringBusiness Development Manager vacations
- Develop and maintain regionalscorecard for store banner to ensure growth against warehouse investment
- Support role in preparation anddelivery of face-to-face customer presentations with merchandising &buyer group
