    Description
    Mechanical Designer Our client is an established manufacturer of packaging machinery with over 40 years ofexperience. They are currently searching for an experienced Mechanical Designer to jointheir team on a permanent full time basis. Create and revise Autodesk Inventor models, AutoCAD drawings, BOM's, and other engineering documentation as required. Participate in design and drawing reviews, shop floor troubleshooting, prototype builds and documentation preparation. 5+ years of Solidworks/Autodesk Inventor experience in a mechanical environment.

    Experienced taking basic concepts through to detail design including analysis, component selection and functional testing Strong attention to detail, particularly with creating mechanical layout, weldment, and assembly drawings Capable with GD&T and other industry accepted tolerancing methods Proven ability to design for manufacturing and assembly Basic FEA capabilities Experience with calculations to verify design strength Please submit all qualified resumes to; MODERN TECHNICAL STAFFING INC.
