    Guidepoint
    Default job background
    Description
    :

Guidepoint's Qsight group is a new high-growth division of Guidepoint focused on building market-leading data intelligence solutions for the healthcare industry. Operating as a start-up within a larger high-growth company, we work with proprietary data to generate actionable insights for the world's leading institutional investors, medical device, and pharmaceutical companies. The Qsight team is passionate about creating new products through rigorous analysis of data to draw highly relevant, accurate, and actionable insights.

As Lead Data Product Manager with Qsight, you will be a key member of the team responsible for building and maintaining the database, data pipeline, and operational cadence for our market research and analytics products. Further, as the expert of the dataset, you will play a strong role in continuous improvement of existing products and driving innovation with the focus on pleasing, supporting, and growing with our clients.

This role will be highly cross functional, working to drive clarity across R&D, engineering, product, and sales/marketing. You will help lead the team to leverage a range of proprietary healthcare data and build innovative solutions for the world's leading healthcare companies—helping them to drive patient access to new and leading products and treatments. Join us for an opportunity to be a part of a world-class team and build an industry-leading data analytics and market research business.

  • Gather and prioritize technical and business requirements for the underlying database for new SaaS analytics products
  • Deeply understand the product value proposition and be able to translate it into technical requirements for the construction and management of the complex database
  • Lead engineering, product management, and R&D teams to build out a well-documented data pipeline management system, SOPs, and processes
  • Collaborate and lead data engineers, architects, and business stakeholders to build a cohesive data ecosystem that incorporates best practices and ensures the highest standards in data management, governance, and quality
  • Establish and continuously monitor key performance indicators for data products, ensuring continuous improvement and alignment with business objectives
  • Serve as the primary internal point of contact for all significant issues related to the product line; ideally can also interact and engage directly with existing data clients and prospects to drive greater value for the commercial side of the business
  • Problem solve and overcome roadblocks and challenges as they arise
  • Build and manage a technical team as needed to support the initiative
  • What You Have:

  • Bachelor's degree in quantitative data field or equivalent (Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Economics, Engineering, etc.); Master of Science (Data Science, Computer Science, Analytics) strongly preferred
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant data product / database management experience with some at a managerial level

  • Proficiency in Jira, Confluence, or other collaboration software systems
  • Proven entrepreneurial mindset, along with a drive to build, solve problems, and innovate in a fast-paced environment
  • Drive to create, innovate, and collaborate with a world-class data team
  • Experience gathering requirements from stakeholders, product teams, and developers
  • Strong presentation and interpersonal communication skills combined with a proclivity for meticulous organization
  • Previous experience with entity resolution processes and methodologies a major plus
