    About the role

    We're looking for a Senior Training and Development Adv isor to join our property claims training team

    Reporting to the Leader, Training, the successful candidate will be responsible for the design of training programs in support of the Property claims team . He/she will analyze the needs of the learners and the organization and design the materials for the continuous training of employees at all levels. To do so, the candidate will use his or her recognized knowledge and skills in project management to develop various training courses dealing with technical and operational aspects as well as the relational aspects specific to the Compensation sector.

    What you'll do here:

  • Create immersive educational experiences for the audience
  • Provide interactive activities and educational resources
  • Maintain projects and organize course documents
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts for lesson planning
  • Design, develop and maintain various training processes and programs
  • Manage in parallel and autonomously different design projects requiring excellent communication and seamless collaboration with the various stakeholders and partners;
  • Stay abreast of best practices in dissemination, design, transfer of learning as well as the latest integration technologies;
  • The person we are looking for will also be likely to propose varous avenues to improve the training offered on an ongoing basis.

    • What you bring to the table:

  • University degree (Bachelor's or Master's degree) in training management, educational technology or an appropriate discipline or combination of education and relevant experience
  • 5 to 8 years of experience in a similar position (in the insurance industry is an asset)
  • Experience in designing large-scale training projects
  • Recognized project management skills
  • Proficient in Office360, Articulate (RISE, Storyline) and Adobe (Photoshop) suites
  • Experience working with a Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Clear and effective curriculum-planning skills
