    Casual Dining Server (Seasonal, Part-time)

    Donalda Golf & Country Club, founded in 1960, is a prestigious year round private club that offers a high standard of social, athletic and dining facilities to our members and their families.

    Our caring and attentive staff members are focused on providing authentic hospitality and meaningful experiences to each and every member and guest.

    We are seeking a dedicated, member service-oriented professionals to join our Casual Dining Team as a Part -time Casual Dining Server from April to October 2024 (Weather dependent).

    If you are passionate about hospitality and take pride in offering exceptional service, we would love to have you be a part of the Donalda team Hourly rate : from $17.

    Under the supervision and direction of the Restaurant Manager, the C asual Dining Server will perform his/her duties to ensure an excellent dining experience for members and guests in every aspect including high quality service, cleanliness of dining area, food quality, etc.

    A Casual Dining Server is expected to be knowledgeable, well-groomed, and friendly and represent Donalda Club in a professional manner while providing an unforgettable dining experience.

    The incumbent is expected to have strong interpersonal skills, organizational skills, be reliable, have a strong perseverance for training and be able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.

    Perform all duties to ensure the dining area is clean and safe for members and staff including cleaning tables, polish glassware and cutlery, clearing used plates, service station, fridge, etc.

    Serves food and beverages according to Donalda Club's set standards as stated in the service manual
    Perform all closing/opening duties as assigned by supervisor or manager on each shift
    Handles complaints from guests and members in a professional manner and informs direct supervisor to resolve any issues
    Represent Donalda Club in a professional manner by obliging to the proper standards outlined in the Donalda Club Dress Code Policy
    Must be 18 and over to serve alcoholic beverages
    Post-secondary education in the field of Hospitality is required
    2 years of restaurant experience is required
    Knowledge of Wine Service is considered an asset
    S Systems (JONAS) is considered an asset
    Must be able to work a variety of shifts including days, evenings, weekends and holidays
