    Description
    Sr Business Systems Analyst


    Industry:
    Retail/eCommerce

    Contract: 6-month Contract (option-to-hire)

    Location: 3 days/week onsite at Vancouver office

    Responsibilities
    Identify Product Integrity processes inefficiencies by mapping and/or utilizing data analysis and modelling to assess current state of streamlined processes and support with designing solutions that enhance efficiency and effectiveness
    Uses structured tools for analysis and presentation of concepts and models to support the business needs (requirements)
    Uses appropriate visualizations for a given metric or nature of data
    Captures business needs (functional requirements) and translates them into technical requirements (configurations)
    Understands modules and platform workflows in their designated system (e.g. sentiment analysis platform, issue management tracker, quality management system, etc.) and impact on Product Integrity processes.
    Works collaboratively with other team members on global teams: 75% of the time working with NA and 25% INTL (Hong Kong time zone)


    Qualifications:
    Previous experience in retail/eCommerce IT environments
    Proven experience with large-scale systems/application implementation.
    5+ years as Systems or Business Analyst; Experience in IT or Saas implementation
    Bachelor's Degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related field
    Feel comfortable working with the unknown and designing through iteration
    You love process, people, and technology equally; you're able to work cross-functionally with different departments and at different levels within an organization; experience working in agile methodology and scrum teams preferred
    Excellent written, modelling, and verbal communication skills
    Excellent system mapping tools like Visio, ; working experience with cloud-native technologies; strong user capabilities within Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint & Smartsheet
    Good understanding of technological trends and uses this knowledge to bring solutions to enhance the enterprise's competitive edge
    Knowledgeable in system architecture and experience with Bl reporting technologies - Power Bl preferred
    Excellent analytics/problem-solving skills with a strong eye for detail, while being able to see the bigger picture with the ability to create detailed, high quality, design deliverables
    Quick-thinker, intellectually curious, fast study, loves problem-solving, desire to learn
