    Must be able to operate service truck in the field.
    Must be able to repair and maintain all makes of heavy construction equipment. (Dozers, Bulldozers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Scrapers, Water Wagons, Motor Graders, Compaction Rollers, Articulated Trucks)

    Hours:
    Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM. (8 Hours regular time, 2 hours overtime)
    on-call rotation)
    Hourly rate is dependent on experience.
    Operate service truck in field.
    # Must be able to repair and maintain all makes of heavy construction equipment. (Dozers, Bulldozers, Excavators, Wheel Loaders, Scrapers, Water Wagons, Motor Graders, Compaction Rollers, Articulated Trucks)
    # Verify and repair emission control systems.
    # Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment to determine the extent of repair required.
    # Test repaired equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufacturers' specifications.
    # Instruct apprentices.
    # Perform repair work on heavy trucks.
    # Communicate with site management to coordinate maintenance priorities.
    # Promote safety awareness by ensuring compliance with corporate health and safety policies and procedures.
    # Operate/drive heavy equipment safely at the work site requirements.

    Completion of a three- to five-year apprenticeship program or a combination of over three years of work experience in the trade and some high school, college, or industry courses in heavy equipment repair is required to be eligible for trade certification.

    Knowledge of troubleshooting/repairing CAT is an asset.
    Knowledge of troubleshooting/repairing John Deere and Hitachi equipment is an asset.
    Experience in Heavy Civil Earthworks Construction and/or Infrastructure is required.
    A valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License or equivalent is required.
    Class 3 Driver's License with air brakes is an asset.
    Proficient English language skills required.
