    Pensions Training Specialist

    Position Type:
    Full-time, Temporary, Included [External/Internal]


    Classification:

    TP III
    knowledge-based presentations designed to help navigate the world of pensions,

    While pension information can be confusing, and you have a knack for taking complicated topics and turning them into something more straightforward.

    You enjoy meeting new people and helping them understand their pension so they can make informed decisions as they prepare for retirement.

    Top notch customer service is your end game.
    A typical day for the Pensions Training Specialist
    Working with pension plan members to help them understand their pensions
    Meeting pension plan members in an individual setting to answer their questions and help them understand their pension
    Delivering knowledge-based webinars to groups of pension plan members
    Working with employers to coordinate pension information sessions
    Working with clients to create content for their members
    Excellent working knowledge of all pension plans administered by APS including legislation and regulations.
    Completion of or working towards completion of PPAC considered an asset.
    Completion of or working towards completion of RPA program considered an asset.
    Excellent working knowledge of all pension-related events, calculations, and statements.
    Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

    Superior relationship-building and customer service skills; Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license; APS is made up of hard-working, respectful and talented people who understand and invite diversity to the workplace.
