    Description
    Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Manager, Transportation Services on a permanent basis on our Transportation Operations team. This position requires on-site work and is based in Saskatoon, SK.

    We are looking for an individual who can lead their team by building relationships through collaboration and engagement. If you are resourceful, result driven, safety minded and can guide a team in effective fleet utilization and commodity product delivery expectations, this may be the opportunity for you


    What you'll do:


    Lead, direct and guide the Transportation Services team in the safe, efficient and sustainable execution of all activities in the transportation value stream.

    Develop and lead strategic initiatives across Transportation Services.

    Ensure cost effective decisions are being carried out to provide value to FCL and the entire Co-operative Retailing System (CRS).

    Lead ongoing review of routing files to identify and implement necessary adjustments to optimize inbound and outbound lanes.
    Gauge performance of Transportation Services by measuring key performance indicators.
    Lead and direct Transportation Services with the most effective asset utilization.
    20% travel required.


    Who you'll work with:


    You will work closely with Transportation Services teams, will have 4 direct reports, and will report into the Director, Supply Chain Transportation - Merchandise.

    Who you are:
    You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:

    Have 10+ years of progressively responsible experience in logistics and/or transportation with 3+ years of leadership experience.

    Have a Diploma in Business or Engineering Technology with a preference towards Operations Management (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).

    Have a CCLP, SCMP or equivalent designation is considered an asset.
