    About the opportunity:

    The Associate Manager, Talent Development will play a key role in supporting our training and talent development programs for our industrial sector. This position involves developing national training plans, managing industrial-specific training initiatives, fostering vendor relationships, optimizing digital learning systems, and assisting in various talent management initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in training and development, strong organizational skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.


    The attributes we are looking for:

    • Lead the development of national training plans for our industrial sites, working closely with HR teams to ensure accurate tracking and completion of initiatives.
    • Design and execute industrial talent development programs, coordinating logistics and aligning attendance with succession planning.
    • Oversee digital learning management systems to maximize self-guided learning offerings across Canada.
    • Align learning plans with development needs identified in succession planning and troubleshoot as needed.
    • Manage Tuition Reimbursement programs and ensure compliance with mandatory training.
    • Handle invoice tracking and payments for training initiatives and other development projects.
    • Monitor KPIs and recommend strategies for achieving training targets.
    • Collaborate with HR and Global partners on various initiatives and projects.


    What you will bring:

    • Degree or Diploma in Human Resources Management, or Business Commerce.
    • 5 to 7 years of experience in Human Resources or Training.
    • Experience in a manufacturing environment is advantageous.
    • HR designation or working towards one is a plus.
    • Attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Internet research.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Fluency in English is required, French proficiency is a bonus.
