    Make an impact with our Enterprise Risk - Governance & Risk Management team as a CPA Articling Accountant starting in May 2024 or May 2025 . This diverse team of professionals utilizes leading-edge industry knowledge to assist clients in mitigating risk. As a trusted advisor, you'll deliver tailored corporate governance and risk management solutions that empower clients to achieve their goals while protecting their business.

    • Responsibilities

  • Perform Internal Controls over Financial Reporting (ICFR) engagements to assist clients evaluate their business processes and controls
  • Assess business processes and internal controls across a range of industries and identify opportunities for improvement including automation of processes and controls
  • Facilitate collaboration with the client engagement team prior to commencement of client work to discuss roles and responsibilities, risk areas, materiality and deadlines
  • Contribute to the development of innovative ideas and approaches to improve work processes
  • Attend internal MNP courses to further develop knowledge around enterprise risk
  • Participate in the delivery of additional Enterprise Risk Services including compliance audits, internal audit, data analytics, enterprise risk management and business resilience, as necessary

    • Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in business, accounting, finance other related field
  • Completion of, or working towards, prerequisites for admission into the CPA Professional Education Program (PEP) upon commencement of employment
  • Customer service and/or client service experience is considered an asset
  • Ability to travel, mainly in Canada.
