    Senior Business Development Executive Defense/Intelligence

    Some of our most valuable business comes from existing customers. That's because our Business Development Sales team takes care to forge strong and insightful relationships with them. To gain understanding of the unique and changing factors that drive purchasing decisions, the team develops connections at all levels of a client's business. They use their insight to identify and create new opportunities – and to build the business development strategies that underpin successful sales. As well as maximizing revenue, they take responsibility for accurate forecasts.

Whether focusing on a geographical area, product line, industry, channel or market segment, their goal is the same: to develop relationships with the end-users of the organization and generate meaningful sales. They are the direct line between our ground-breaking portfolio of product solutions and the desks of satisfied customers.

    What you'll achieve
    As a Business Development Executive, you will be responsible for building strong executive customer relationships in the field and ensuring an outstanding customer experience with existing and potential customers within the Defense and Intelligence Community sector of our Federal business. This role will focus on the long-term, strategic positioning and acquisition of defense and intelligence pursuits.


    You will:

    • Foster executive level relationships across customer and partner ecosystem
    • Assist in gaining share of spend across Dell Technologies portfolio of technology solutions: Client, server, storage, networking, software, security and led services
    • Support acquisition of new strategic programs, contract vehicles, and task orders in the federal business space
    • Articulate the Dell Technologies value proposition at every level within clients and strategic partners to maximize growth and identify market opportunities
    • Develop pipeline and shape strategic opportunities around customer programs

    Essential Requirements

    • 8 to 12 years of experience supporting Federal Programs (solution selling or prior government tenure) in the defense and intelligence space
    • Currently hold, or ability to quickly obtain, Top Secret clearance in the defense and intelligence space and Knowledge of defense/intel program and procurement processes
    • Aptitude for understanding how technology products and solutions tackle business problems


    Desirable Requirements

    • Bachelor's degree (BS/BA)
    • Masters in Business Administration
    • Military experience
