    Senior Manager, National Assurance & Accounting Standards

    We are seeking a Senior Manager, National Assurance & Accounting Standards to join our National Assurance & Accounting Standards team.

    This individual can work remotely from any of our Canadian offices.

    As the Senior Manager, National Assurance & Accounting Standards you will develop training and practice tools in order to guide staff across our local offices, ensuring efficient and standard compliant engagements.

    Provide guidance and perform research to assist individuals in our local offices on accounting, assurance, and related services matters.

    Develop accounting, assurance, and related services publications, manuals, and other practice tools for both internal and external distribution.

    Strive for efficiency in reviewing forms and policies, ensuring that standards and quality are met on a national level.

    Develop firm policies relating to accounting, assurance, and related services engagements.

    Design and deliver effective accounting, assurance, and related services training programs for partners and staff, including live instructor-led training, web-based training, and virtual instructor-led training.

    You actively participate in the adoption of digital tools and strategies to drive an innovative workplace
    You have 5-7 years of post-designation experience in accounting and assurance standards.
    You possess expert knowledge in Canadian Financial Reporting Frameworks, assurance standards, PCAOB standards, and Canadian Securities Regulations. Securities Regulations would be an asset.
    You are skilled in developing and delivering training and presentations, including material creation.
    You demonstrate exceptional time management and organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects with competing deadlines.

    You have a solid understanding of various standards, policies, and procedures related to accounting and auditing, including risk management, independence, tax, etc.
