    Job Description

    Ignition is looking for a talented Global Content Marketing Lead to join our team. In this crucial role, you will craft and implement a thorough content marketing strategy to boost Ignition's brand presence, engage our audience, and stimulate interest in our offerings. We need a creative mind who can create compelling content across different channels, establish thought leadership, and play a significant role in our growth strategies. Reporting to the Head of Product, Customer, and Brand Marketing, this position is key to our marketing efforts.

    This opportunity is perfect for a flexible, creative, and strategic content marketer who can handle content strategy, development, distribution, and hands-on execution effectively, creating a content engine that drives Ignition's brand and demand channels.

    Responsibilities

    • Content Strategy Development: Develop and execute a content marketing strategy in line with Ignition's mission and brand pillars.
    • Industry Research and Insights: Understand the Ignition customer and create relevant content types. Use SEO to optimize content.
    • Content Creation: Generate engaging content like blogs, case studies, eBooks, webinars, and more. Ensure content aligns with Ignition's brand.
    • Content Distribution: Identify ways to repurpose content across channels for maximum reach and engagement.
    • Freelancers and Third-Party Relationships: Manage freelance writers and content budget as needed.
    • Performance Analysis: Track content performance using metrics to optimize strategies.
    • Content Calendar Management: Maintain a content calendar for consistent delivery aligned with marketing initiatives.
    Qualifications
    • A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or related field.
    • Minimum 3 years of content marketing experience, preferably in SaaS or related sectors. Accounting background is a plus.
    • Strong writing and editing skills with attention to detail.
    • SEO expertise for content optimization.
    • Experience with CMS and marketing automation platforms.
    • Familiarity with social media and digital analytics.
    • Analytical mindset for data-driven marketing decisions.
