    Description

    JOB SUMMARY

    We are seeking an experienced individual to join our team and drive success through effective training, coaching, and continuous development initiatives. You will be an important support resource for new sales representatives, independent contractors, our sales leadership, selected employees, and you will play a crucial role in improving onboarding, training and retention of sales representatives.

    In this role, you will participate in in-person and virtual trainings and meetings, providing valuable insights and guidance. Additionally, you will offer in-field support and training on various topics, such as onboarding techniques and utilizing our company engagement tools. Moreover, you will contribute to the professional development and leadership growth of our sales representatives and sales leadership team through the delivery of comprehensive national development programs.

    Successful candidates will possess excellent interpersonal skills, strong instructional abilities, and a passion for fostering growth and success within the sales force. By leveraging your expertise and commitment to continuous improvement, you will make a significant impact on our results and contribute to our company's ongoing success.

    RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Deliver training to all levels of sales within assigned geographic region(s). Includes training needs assessment, facilitation, tracking, and coordination of appropriate participation.
  • Ensure the standards of the program are embedded and consistent with the national programs.
  • Drive new and tenure sales representative success through the delivery of quality education programs and meetings.
  • Assist with leader development and onboarding of new sales reps.
  • Partner with sales leadership in the identification of talent, assessment of competency development, development of progression plan, and mentoring of new sales leaders.
  • Assess trends and make recommendations regarding training needs.
  • Partner with sales leadership to occasionally support field training as needed.
  • Reporting.

    • SKILLS

  • Excellent facilitation skills (organized, independent, communication, presentation, delivery, emotional intelligence, .
  • Experience conducting training based on needs and with curriculum.
  • Can assist in content building.
  • Knowledge of basic adult learning theories, current on Leadership and Development (L&D) best practices, participation in external training or L&D professional organization(s).
  • Strong skills in presenting, communicating, organizing, multi-tasking, and time management.
  • Excellent writing and communication skills.
  • Tech savvy and proficient with Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI, Webex, Teams.

    • EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

  • 5-year experience related to leadership, sales, insurance, business development, small business management and/or ownership.
  • Hold a valid life insurance license.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
