    We are currently looking for a

    Group Academy Support Lead (12 month contract) at our Corporate Offices in Ajax, ON

    Under the direction of the Manager, Group After Sales Training, you will be responsible for the administration of the Learning Management System (LMS), associated interfaces and related vendor/suppliers. You will support eLearning and technology related initiatives and advise Academy teams on existing and emerging learning technologies, implementation and industry best practices for the development and delivery of the Group After Sales training programs. This includes support for the day-to-day operations of the Technical and Non-Technical After Sales Academies for both brands.

    **This is a flex hybrid model**

    Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to the Manager, After Sales Training during all aspects of vendor projects including sourcing/Request for Proposals (RFP), contractual implementation and transitional phases.
  • Support the Group Academy team in the coordination, facilitation and follow-up of vendor related day-to-day operational activities and requirements.
  • Aid in the determination of business opportunities for related vendor programs.
  • Work with suppliers and VGCA Brands on tracking issues, problem verification and resolution for escalated issues.
  • Participate in vendor and industry related meetings, events, planning sessions and international initiatives as required.
  • Create and coordinate all communications related to training curriculum and certification to the VW and Audi field operations teams and dealers. Coordinate and collaborate with North American Regional academies.
  • Provide, through the vendor, or develop as required, all necessary reporting for internal and external clients.
  • Review and reconcile reports from vendors to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Liaise and coordinate client interface, oversee client/brand relationship and complete post-meeting reports.
  • Support the budget goals of the After Sales Training Manager including researching quality suppliers, supplier options and cost-effective solutions.
  • Coordinate, track and report operational activity with Training Consultants/Suppliers including vendor invoicing and purchase order tracking.
  • Attend product delivery activities (e.g. seminars) as appropriate. Attend train-the-trainer sessions as applicable to specific project or as required.
  • Assist with the development of special projects and reporting as required. (Audi Twin Cup Competition, Skills Canada)
  • Generate reports, data collection, evaluation and feedback, as required
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications:

  • College Diploma or Bachelor Degree in Business, Instructional Technology, Education and/or equivalent experience in a related field
  • Working knowledge of virtual learning platforms such as Adobe Connect
  • Understanding of web-based course requirements (SCORM, HTML5 etc.)
  • Superior computer skills and strong/expert level in working with MS Office
  • Proficient in administration and management of eLearning, content, database and LMS systems
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills
  • Detail oriented and good organizational and time management skills
  • Presentation skills
  • Customer service skills
  • Ability to problem solve and trouble shoot
  • Knowledge of vendor processes including invoices, budget tracking, Request For Proposal [RFP] process, quotation and buying process
  • Ability to analyze critical data
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to build and sustain relationships
  • Demonstrates systemic thinking and verbal reasoning

  • French or German Language
  • Bachelor's Degree in business, Instructional Technology, Education, or related field
  • 3-5 years' of experience in eLearning or LMS Administrator role
