    Job scope

    Our North America Site Sales Team is seeking ambitious candidates with passion for learning how to sell technology solutions in the mining industry. This is a development-focused entry level role that will teach you to drive sales by cultivating relationships, identifying opportunities, leveraging the capability of peers, and ensuring customer satisfaction.

    During a 6–18-month (paid) program, you will participate in learning opportunities tailored to our services and equipment while assisting in the sales process. Upon completion of this program, you will have the skills to acquire new customers, drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling, ensure customer retention, and contribute to the overall success of our sales team and b business. Most Junior Sales Engineers are ready to promote into Sales Engineers with an assigned territory at the completion of this program.

    Responsibilities

  • Support sales engineers with solution selling into customer account base
  • Participate in hands-on training in the mechanical operation and process applications of mining equipment
  • Travel to mining sites and corporate offices to engage with customers and peers
  • Translate customer needs and site opportunities into proposed solutions
  • Create and deliver powerful presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of our value proposition
  • Partner with sales executives to plan, prepare ad execute on strategic deals in complex sales cycles
  • Manage all technical aspects of RFP/RFI responses
  • Effectively communicate customer needs to the R&D teams for future product enhancements
  • What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or mining-related field of study
  • Ability to connect to others quickly and build strong relationships
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to creatively explain and present complex concepts in a simplistic manner
  • Technical background with the ability to use and learn sales and business software
  • Willingness to travel (60%) and possibly relocate to sales territory at completion of the program.
  • What we offer

  • Complete technical training on core mining products lines: Screening, Thickening, Filtration, Pumps, Cyclones and Valves (PCV) Flotation, Pyromet, Digital, Crushing and Milling
  • Onsite and virtual shadow experiences with sales engineers, field engineers and product line managers
  • Lab rotation experience working with site samples
  • Thorough training on our internal sales tools/processes, order handling, and CRM system with participation in external sales effectiveness training
  • Guidance to access, organize, and analyze customer data to pinpoint opportunities.
