    Downtown Ottawa
    Monday to Friday - 100 % in person

    At least 1 year of proven experience in Civil Litigation in Ontario as a Law Clerk or any similar role is a MUST


    We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our client's legal team as a Law Clerk who will assist in legal research, drafting documents , and overall case management, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct thorough legal research using various resources to support case preparation.
    • Summarize and organize legal information for easy retrieval by legal professionals.
    • Draft and prepare legal documents, such as pleadings, affidavits, contracts, and correspondence.
    • Assist in the review and organization of legal documents for court filings and client matters.
    • Ensure all documentation complies with legal requirements and standards.
    • Assist in managing and organizing case files, maintaining accurate and uptodate records.
    • Coordinate and communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals as needed.
    • Schedule appointments, court dates, and meetings to ensure efficient case progression.
    • Provide administrative support to legal professionals, including managing calendars, answering phones, and handling correspondence.
    • Assist in billing and timekeeping processes as required.
    Qualifications
    At least 1 year of proven experience in Civil Litigation in Ontario as a Law Clerk or any similar role is a MUST

    • Strong understanding of legal terminology, procedures, and documentation.
    • Excellent research, analytical, and organizational skills.
    • Proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
