Project Manager – Automation

Location: Stoney Creek, ON

The opportunity:

MT Talent has partnered with a leader in a niche automated parts company who is the largest in their field in Canada They are looking to add an experienced Project Manager to their team.

This is an exciting role to be part of an evolving and stable company who proudly helps hundreds of global organizations by providing top quality solutions.

What you'll do in the role:

Develo9p project schedule, adhering to the organization's strategy and customer requirements.

Manage and update project schedule throughout the project of the lifecycle.

Ensure ongoing accurate communication between all internal and external stakeholders.

Complete all necessary project documentation and reporting.

Communication and collaborate with internal and external partners, such as Sales, Design, Assembly, Manufacturing, Electrical.

Monitor progress of the project and ensure milestones are being met.

Document and resolve any project issues.

Manage project close out and evaluation.

Adhere to all company health and safety standards.

Other dues as assigned.

What you bring:

At least 5 years' Project Management experience in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of Project Management principles. PMP is an asset.

Strong computer skills including MS Office Suite and Celoxis.

Mechanical, electrical and automation familiarity.

Proven ability to read blueprints, engineered drawings and technical diagrams.

Mechanically inclined and strong problem solving skills

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills both written and oral

Highly organized and motivated with a proven ability to meet defined deadlines and metrics

Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices in a manufacturing environment
