    Content Marketing Manager

    Hi, I'm Thomas Paris, Senior Director of Marketing at PayShepherd. As our company continues to grow at a rapid pace, we are looking to expand our marketing team by adding a Content Marketing Manager.

    You'll create a wide range of edu-taining content and campaigns designed to wow the Procurement and Heavy Industrial community. This role is an individual contributor role reporting to the Senior Director of Marketing, and will have a pivotal role on our content production team that directly impacts our demand gen and brand-building strategy.

    Responsibilities

    • This role will own the strategy and results for all our channels with a special focus on LinkedIn. Part of this is optimizing existing channels and exploring future platforms to invest in.
    • Your primary focus will be growing pipeline and brand awareness to support our strategic company goals.
    • Writing, editing, and curating all forms of content including blog posts, case studies, whitepapers, landing pages, emails, and more.
    • Coordinating with external agencies, marketing staff, and other stakeholders to support content creation and distribution.
    • Employee advocacy. Our team loves being active on Linkedln. You'll evolve our process and programs to further grow our employee activation on social media
    • Content is your first love, and revenue is your second. You love the creativity of producing content that's relevant and insightful, but you're also curious and use data to guide your decision-making.
    • You see the forest and the trees. In other words, you understand how content impacts our entire marketing strategy plus the tactics needed to reach growth metrics. You. Love. Content. Writing, visuals, video - all of it. You'll use your stellar content creation skills to support numerous campaigns and goals.
    • You prefer to win as a team. You like planning and strategy sessions designed to dominate the world - I mean, our market. But don't worry, we only meet when necessary. Be ready to meet with brilliant minds from Marketing, Sales and CS teams, and more.

    Qualifications

    • 5+ years of experience in content marketing, ideally in a high-growth B2B SaaS environment.
    • You're a LinkedIn expert and are passionate about creating never-been-done-before plays and strategies.
    • Top notch, world-class writing skills (be prepared to share writing samples).
    • Strategic thinker: you challenge conventional wisdom and are eager to reinvent modern marketing tactics.
    • Some juggling required - the ability to balance multiple projects at once is key.
    • Excellent language and grammar skills. You know the rules and when (and how) to break them.
    • Bonus: you're familiar with Hubspot.
    • Bonus: you're familiar with the Procurement audience.
