    Who are we looking for?

    GHD is hiring a Proposal Manager to lead Federal pursuit and proposal activities and manage the development and implementation of pursuit plans and strategy.

    Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:

  • Manage the proposal efforts for key clients, including Federal clients
  • Lead proposal strategy discussions and kick-off meetings for large pursuits and ensuring strategic win themes are effectively incorporated throughout the proposal
  • Drives development and manages proposal team (technical leader, marketing coordinator, graphics,
  • Collaborates with team in the development of various proposal sections including Management, Personnel, Executive Summaries, and/or other Volumes as assigned
  • Facilitates Pink, Red, Gold team, and other reviews
  • Facilitate production and delivery of finished product, while complying with all RFP requirements
  • Lead interview strategy discussions
  • Manage the interview development and production process from start to finish

    • What you will bring to the team:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree
  • Five to Seven years of experience leading the proposal process from prepositioning phases through interview and driving teams to develop complaint and competive bids for an engineering, construction, or professional services organization
  • Proficient in marketing techniques (layout, graphics, strategy-to-win)
  • Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud, including InDesign and Photoshop
  • Ability to manage and work effortlessly with Technical Leaders in any market and service line
  • Proven leadership and strategy development skills
  • Confident personality with the ability to think strategically and help teams develop sound marketing, pursuit and proposal strategies
  • Strong communication skills both written and oral
  • Good negotiation, problem solving, planning and time management skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Understanding of marketing techniques (layout, graphics, strategy-to-win)
  • Flexible and able to meet challenging deadlines
  • Excellent organizational skills required with ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Experience working in the Federal sector a bonus but not required
