    Diagnostics Engineering 12 month Contract London ON

    Position Summary:

    The diagnostic engineering contractor position involves researching, analyzing, and creating troubleshooting procedures for Technical Manuals (TM) based on CAD models and engineering drawings.

    Gather information from Design and Reliability Engineering teams to understand vehicle systems and their maintenance requirements.
    # Write diagnostic procedures in XML format compliant with industry standards.

    Collaborate with technical illustrators to generate graphics to support technical procedures.
    Conduct thorough quality checks and proofreading of documents to eliminate errors and ensure consistency with style guidance.
    Work closely with cross-functional teams, such as engineers and vehicle technicians, to ensure accuracy of technical content.
    The successful candidate will be provided one-on-one training.

    This training includes, but is not limited to, overview of the vehicle system and operation, authoring software (XML), content management system, style/language-specific guidance, and ongoing mentorship by lead spare parts expert.

    College diploma or university degree in a technical discipline
    Ability to interpret engineering drawings/schematics
    Electrical or mechanical aptitude
    A desire to put your technical diploma or degree into practical use
    Attention to detail and a commitment to producing accurate and high-quality documentation
    Willingness to learn technical skills as part of a highly skilled team
    Ability to travel (5% Canada or 5% US & Int'l) and possess/be able to acquire and maintain a valid passport
