    We are looking to have a full-time Sourcing Analyst join our team This position can be held hybrid from a range of major cities across Canada. Please note that shifts will include Mon - Fri starting at 6:00am ET (37.5hrs/week).

    SUMMARY

    Reporting to the Director Strategic Sourcing, the Sourcing Analyst will collect and analyze data related to supplier spend by Client and category. collect and prepare data to analyze supplier responses to set up inquiries and provide detailed analysis. They will assist with supplier set ups and compliance management and develop statistical data to assist the Sourcing team. Using databases, electronic spreadsheets, and statistical applications they will manipulate, analyze, and present data in a way to assist with driving positive results on compliance. The Sourcing Analyst will provide information and analysis findings in a format that allows for its use by the Sourcing Team. Additionally, they will perform a variety of administrative duties relating to the systematic process of collecting, categorizing and analyzing supplier spend.

    KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

    SUPPLIER QUALIFICATION & SET UP

  • Executes the supplier qualification and set up processes according to established policies and procedures
  • Receives requests for supplier set up and processes the request within the defined SLA
  • Verifies to ensure suppliers are not duplicated within the system and suppliers have not already been declined in the past
  • Forwards requests to service provider to complete supplier qualification process. Where required: Liaises with relevant stakeholders to obtain all required documentations to complete process requirements Reviews supplier qualification documentations and confirms all qualification requirements are met Identifies non-compliant items and liaises with relevant stakeholders to obtain all required documentations Escalates issues and obtains stakeholder input and approval for exceptions
  • Liaises with internal stakeholders to complete supplier set up process
  • Creates end user accounts and provides access to supplier qualification tool

    • REPORTING

  • Prepare vendor compliance reports using analytical and Business Intelligence tools
  • Collect and analyze data related to supplier spend by Client and category
  • Schedule Supplier Business Reviews, collect and prepare data & deck
  • Analyze supplier responses to set up documents and provide detail analysis
  • Develop statistical data to assist the Sourcing team
  • Use databases, electronic spreadsheets, and statistical applications to manipulate, analyze, and present data.
  • Provide information and analysis findings in a format that allows for its use by the Sourcing Team
  • Perform a variety of administrative duties relating to the systematic process of collecting, categorizing and analyzing supplier spend

    • OTHER DUTIES

  • Responsible for responding to inquiries made by internal and external stakeholders, including Facility Managers, Financial Controllers, Sourcing Managers and vendors.
  • Perform a spend analysis on vendor set ups and annual reports

    • KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • College diploma in business or other relevant program.
  • Additional training in contract law.
  • 1 – 3 years related experience.
  • Bilingual in English and French (written and spoken) preferred.
  • Experience with contract negotiations and administration.
  • Computer proficiency in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook, Proficiency with Oracle or RealSuite application is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent business writing skills, technical writing skills an asset.
  • Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Strong customer focus.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task under deadline pressure.
