    Description

    Reporting to the Board of Directors, through the President of the Board of Directors, the General Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of the Club, ensuring high standards of quality are maintained at all times, effectively managing and leading staff, and driving revenue growth.

    Key Responsibilities Provide leadership, management, and motivation to the management team and staff.

    Control and coordinate the operations and activities of the Club - foster the best use of facilities in the interest of Club members, and to encourage their usage.

    Seek out and pursue opportunities for improved cost, quality of operation, customer service, and financial performance.

    Be accountable for the bottom-line - manage the financial aspects of the Club and ensure that budgets are being adhered to.

    Continue to find creative ways and means to increase Club usage by members thereby increasing revenues to the Club.
    Review the performance of the management staff to assure the accomplishment of approved objectives, plans and strategies.
    Select and develop the necessary management talent to support the organisation to achieve its future goals.

    Provide the leadership to the appropriate managers and committees to facilitate the development and implementation of more comprehensive and innovative programs.

    Execute and implement contracts. policies. Continue to increase revenues and profit from the Food and Beverage operation, including private functions. Provide strategic direction and prepare strategic plans.
    Qualifications & Skill Requirements Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in a private club environment
    Minimum of 10 years of leadership and management experience
    Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
    Knowledge of food and beverage trends and industry best practices
    Strong change management skills with the ability to execute a plan
    Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field preferred
