    Description

    Pinnacle International is seeking a senior accountant as a Director of Accounts Receivable with experience in the real estate industry to oversee and monitor the collection and invoicing process. The successful candidate will be based out of Vancouver, BC overseeing the AR portfolio of the Pinnacle's entire portfolio (Canadian/US residential, commercial and parking)

    Responsibilities:

    1. Manage and oversee the accounts receivable process, including rent collections and tenant billing

    2. Implement and ensure effective collection strategies to minimize delinquencies

    3. Prepare monthly rent statements as needed

    4. Ensure compliance with policies, procedures and regulatory bodies

    5. Review and monitor tenant accounts to ensure timely payments

    6. Follow up on upcoming and overdue payments immediately

    7. Reconcile tenant accounts and resolve any discrepancies on a timely basis

    8. Produce weekly accounts receivable aging reports for regular review

    9. Willing to take on ad hoc projects as needed

    Experience:

    1. Accounting designation (CPA, CMA, CGA)

    2. 5+ years of accounts receivable experience in a senior role

    3. Experience with collections in the real estate industry is preferred

    4. Excellent verbal and written communication and proficiency in English

    5. Ability to communicate effectively and professionally with the team

    6. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

    7. Strong attention to detail and accuracy with data entry

    8. Excellent organizational and time management skills

    9. Ability to work independently and as part of a team

    10. Nice, helpful and out-going personality

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: From $120,000.00 per year
