    We are seeking a highly motivated, French speaking and experienced Program Manager to ensure the most value for our programs with the highest impact, while managing risks across several programs implemented primarily in West Africa .

    As a member of World Vision Canada's (WVC) Program Excellence & Impact Delivery team, you will hold a portfolio of countries with programs/projects and serve as the main liaison between World Vision Canada and our Field Offices.

    You will work collaboratively with other teams in World Vision Canada and World Vision International to ensure that the needs of the Field Offices you represent are met through pre-positioning well for both private and public funding opportunities.

    You will participate in the proposal/project design processes alongside our Business Development team.

    You will also be responsible for ensuring that impact communications and impact data from all the programs/projects you represent are available in a timely manner.

    You will be part of a community of practice for knowledge sharing with other practitioners across the Program Excellence & Impact Delivery team.

    Ensure strategic alignment, integration and program quality of all WVC investments within an assigned portfolio of countries, or program/projects.

    Provide strategic direction and overall management oversight to programs/projects to ensure delivery of project results and reports on time and on budget through effective engagement with field offices, partners and other stakeholders.

    Support emergency responses within country portfolio- by monitoring context, channeling information, seeking funding opportunities and assisting with the redirection of project budgets to support the response.

    Ensure donor compliance is met and all contracts and agreements are followed for the duration of the program implementation period.

    As applicable, manage grant funded program/project to ensure quality execution, delivery of impact, risk management and fulfillment of donor promise/contract agreement.

    Support the Specialist in Knowledge Management with documenting and disseminating program/project resources and learnings within World Vision Canada and across the Partnership.

    Build relationships with Field offices and World Vision International and participate in National and Regional strategic meetings, including field visits as needed.

    In partnership with relevant teams, be a champion for impact, to ensure that impact communications and impact data are delivered to public and private donors/supporters in new and innovative ways utilizing digital tools and technology.

    Actively identify in country needs in partnership with Field Offices, for potential funding opportunities and program/project innovations, support local prospecting and engage in proposal development teams.

    Liaise with public and private donors to represent stories of impact and promote WV's technical and geographic expertise, in collaboration with marketing teams and segment leads in the Business Development team.

    Support fundraising efforts of marketing teams seeking to test new products and gather impact resources through resource gathering/filming trips and donor field trips.

    Engage in communities of practice based on areas of expertise to share knowledge and improve programming effectiveness and impact.

    Ensure safeguarding best practices are upheld and any incidents appropriately reported for all programs/projects implemented and through all external consultants/donor visiting the project locations.

    University Degree (Masters preferred) in a field related to international or community/social development
    5-10 years of relevant experience, including in overseas locations
    Experience in fragile and nexus programming an asset
    Demonstrated skills and capacity in proposal development and grant management
    Excellent communication skills in both English and French, written and oral
    Detail oriented with ability to work with project documents (i.e. reports, budgets, logical frameworks) and provide quality feedback
    Demonstrated ability to take initiative with confidence and sound judgement while managing several moving parts simultaneously
    Ability to travel internationally at least once per year, including potentially to high risk environments
