    Reporting to the Corporate Actuarial Reserves' manager, you will play a key role in mandates related to the valuation of actuarial reserves. You will be at the heart of stimulating projects, within a department critical to the smooth running and operation of DGAG. Your team spirit will allow you to thrive by collaborating with multiple teams within the organization, such as pricing and finance teams. More specifically, you will be required to:

    • Perform analyses to establish the required reserves and loss component for all products and provinces, ensuring the data's integrity.
    • Lead in developing and maintaining reserving and loss component models, evaluation assumptions, meeting legal and professional industry requirements, and monitoring the market.
    • Ensure that the actuarial departments' needs are considered and met.
    • Develop and maintain various models, analyze results, and produce required reports.
    • Participate in the continuous improvement of your team's activities.

    What you bring to the table:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field
    • Minimum of six years of relevant experience
    • Experience in synthesizing complex actuarial concepts
    • Successful completion of at least five Casualty Actuarial Society exams
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite
    • Advanced knowledge of SAS and VBA
    • Knowledge of French required for positions in Quebec
    • Advanced knowledge in English for interactions with English-speaking partners, members, and/or clients.
