    Esri Canada has an exciting 8-month co-op opportunity for a Talent Acquisition Assistant in the Human Resources team. The individual in this role will learn the foundations of Talent Acquisition and HR, and will contribute to the overall candidate experience by assisting with recruitment, screening, interview scheduling, and general HR projects.

    Talent Acquisition Assistant (co-op) responsibilities include:

    • Assist with conducting full-cycle recruitment including drafting and editing job postings, posting jobs across multiple platforms, screening resumes, and coordinating candidate interviews with hiring managers, ensuring timely communication and a smooth interview process.
    • Source candidates, and evaluate job applicants based on job requirements, through an applicant tracking system, job boards, and social media channels such as LinkedIn.
    • Assist the HR Team with monitoring the progress of background checks for prospective new hires.
    • Collaborate with language translation services to translate job postings.
    • Identify passive candidates using various recruitment platforms and contribute to developing a talent pipeline.
    • Perform other duties as required in support of the HR Team.

    Specific skill requirements:

    • Currently enrolled in a University or College Human Resources Management or Business Administration program.
    • 6-12 months of customer service experience dealing with clients over the phone, email and/or in-person.

    Competencies in the following are essential:

    • Ability to independently work from home and in a virtual team environment.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Familiar with social media platforms such as LinkedIn.
    • Detail oriented with excellent organizational skills.
    • Highly customer-focused, adaptable, and flexible to handle shifting priorities.
    • Proven ability to work in a process-oriented and compliance-focused environment.
    • Proficiency in utilizing Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint).

    Considered as assets for this position are the following:

    • Bilingual French/English

    This co-op term will be ideally from May - December 2024 from Monday to Friday 9-5pm.

    Esri Canada est à la recherche d'une assistante ou d'un assistant en acquisition de talents pour un stage coop de huit mois dans son équipe des Ressources humaines. La personne qui occupera ce poste apprendra les fondements de l'acquisition de talents et des RH. Elle contribuera à l'expérience globale des candidates et des candidats en participant au recrutement, à la sélection, à la planification des entretiens et aux projets généraux de RH.

    L'assistante ou l'assistant, Acquisition de talents (coop) devra mener à bien les tâches suivantes :

    • Aider à effectuer le cycle complet de recrutement, y compris la rédaction et la modification des offres d'emploi, la publication des offres d'emploi sur plusieurs plateformes, la sélection des curriculums vitæ et la coordination des entretiens des candidates et candidats avec les gestionnaires du recrutement, en veillant à assurer une communication efficace et le bon déroulement du processus d'entretien.
    • Recherche des candidatures et les évaluer en fonction des exigences du poste, au moyen d'un système de suivi des candidatures, de tableaux d'affichage et de canaux sur les médias sociaux tels que LinkedIn.
    • Assister l'équipe des RH dans le suivi de l'avancement de la vérification des antécédents des candidates et des candidats à l'embauche.
    • Collaborer avec les services de traduction pour faire traduire les offres d'emploi.
    • Trouver les talents passifs à l'aide de diverses plateformes de recrutement et contribuer à la composition d'un bassin de talents.
    • Accomplir d'autres tâches, selon les besoins, pour soutenir l'équipe des RH.

    Formation, expérience et aptitudes nécessaires

    • Études cours dans un programme universitaire ou collégial de gestion des ressources humaines ou d'administration des affaires.
    • De 6 à 12 mois d'expérience dans le domaine du service à la clientèle avec prise en charge des clients par téléphone, par courriel ou en personne.

    Aptitudes essentielles

    • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome au domicile et dans un environnement d'équipe virtuelle.
    • Solides compétences en matière de communication orale et écrite.
    • Connaissance des plateformes de médias sociaux telles que LinkedIn.
    • Souci du détail et excellentes aptitudes d'organisation.
    • Orientation marquée vers le client, capacité d'adaptation et flexibilité au niveau de la gestion de priorités changeantes.
    • Capacité avérée à travailler dans un environnement axé sur les processus et la conformité.C
    • Maîtrise de la suite Microsoft Office (Word, Excel et PowerPoint).

    Ce stage se déroulera idéalement de mai à décembre 2024 du lundi au vendredi de 9h à 17h.
