- 3-5 years' experience in the IT Recruitment and Staffing Industry
- Strength in generating leads and opportunities through direct selling, client meetings, networking, and relationship building
- Reporting to the Managing Director, the Account Manager is responsible for increasing revenue and gross margin dollars
- Face-to-face meetings with prospective and existing clients and consultants
- Meeting or exceeding assigned sales targets and penetrating/developing new account opportunities
- Selling into Enterprise Accounts across multiple industries including Telecommunications, Financial Services, Utilities, Insurance, Consulting and Retail
- Previous experience within MSP/VMS clients and/or direct client relationships
- Managing the business development process to deal closure
- Helping recruitment team to source suitable candidates via networking and referrals
- Entrepreneurial, service-oriented and accountable
- Proactive, Independent, focused, and driven by success and commissions

Nexus is looking for an Account Manager/Business Development specialist whose experience has come from within the IT Staffing Industry. At Nexus, we take great pride in our TEAM, culture, training and development to provide you the tools to be successful. We are looking for driven, results-oriented Account Managers who excel in developing long-term relationships with a portfolio of Clients. You'll be responsible for building new relationships and expanding and improving business with existing customers. Working in a hybrid environment, based out of our Mississauga head office, compensation will be comprised of a base salary plus commission.
