    Our Client:

    Our client is a large organization which is in the midst of launching a significant digital and business transformation. They are revolutionizing their core capabilities to enable them to maximize service and positive outcomes. This Project will include an integrated platform for relationship and people management, learning, intranet and data warehousing.

    In order to achieve all this, they are now recruiting for a Senior IT Field Specialist.

    What you will be doing:

    • Provide direction and oversight to all IT (Information Technology) operations, network security and Communications systems for multiple locations in GTA area
    • Support the technology operations and the implementation of new IT systems, network, and policies in accordance with The organizational standards
    • Inspect and identify the use of technological equipment and software to ensure functionality and efficiency. This includes determining an appropriate course of action from initial hardware assessment to recommending the need for upgrades, configurations, repairs, or purchase of new systems/equipment when appropriate
    • Manage and support all network connected systems for the multiple sites (that may include all Security and Door Controls)
    • Respond and resolve requests related to technical or non-technical issues on a timely manner, adhering to incident management process and policies
    • Provide training on information technologies, including but not limited to Office 365, mobile devices, and other technical equipment.

    What you bring to the table:

    • Completion of a diploma or university degree in computer science, engineering or relevant field experience
    • Minimum 5 years of experience in implementation and support of IT systems
    • Must possess a valid driver's license, vehicle and have a clean driving record
    • The ability and willingness to drive to various sites in the GTA
    • Sound understanding of computer systems (hardware/software), networks etc.
    • Strong sense of integrity with professional ethics
    • Able to proactively recognize potential risks and issues, respond with solutions and engage others in implementing change
