    Job Description

    The Nuna Group of Companies is currently looking for a Project Manager with experience in managing large-scale, heavy industrial civil earthworks construction projects.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Demonstrate leadership by fostering a safety culture and promoting continuous improvement.
    • Manage the entire project lifecycle, from start-up to execution, and project closure.
    • Ensure project performance by monitoring schedules, production metrics, and KPIs.
    • Handle the financial aspects of the project, such as forecasting and billing.
    • Lead, mentor, and coach project team members, emphasizing teamwork and inclusivity.
    • Priority on maintaining client relationships to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

    Job Requirements

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum 7 years of experience in a similar role, with at least 5 years on projects valued at $15M or more.
    • Preferably a diploma in Civil, Mining, or Structural Engineering or a related technical degree.
    • Strong organizational and planning skills to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities.
    • Familiarity with project financials, including estimating, budgeting, cost controls, and reporting.
    • Comprehensive understanding of all aspects of heavy civil earthwork construction.
    • Experience with various contract types, including lump sum, time and material, and unit rate.
    • Desirable skills include experience in drill and blast and/or hard rock mining.
    • Willingness to travel to different project sites on short notice or for extended periods.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, essential for effective teamwork.
    • Proficient in written communication for planning, execution, and reporting.
    • Experience with JD Edwards, Primavera P6, and/or MS Projects is an advantage.
