    Description

    What you'll do

    • Work closely with the Store operations team to transform often complex and technical information into action-focused documentation for Stores
    • Edit various technical and operational documents for internal use by Canadian Tire Retail Dealers and Stores
    • Ensure accuracy of facts by partnering with the Subject Matter Expert's (SME's)
    • Ensure consistent language, style and formatting of documentation by adhering to the internal style
    • Organize production schedulers for assigned projects and work closely with key stakeholders to meet quality standards and deadlines
    • Participate in special projects as required such as Digital Operation Guide and/or other forms of Digital Communications

    What you bring

    • 1-3 years of experience successfully distilling complex of highly technical concepts to actionable, understandable communications or documentation
    • Communications/English Degree/Diploma, BA,BS degree, or equivalent work experience
    • Track record of researching and writing effective documentation in a business environment
    • Understanding and comfort with technical, digital communication channels such as MS Office suite
    • Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills and attention to detail - particularly with respect to document formatting
    • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, constantly changing and deadline-driven environment
    • Strong understanding of Store Operations, specific to Canadian Tire Retail is an asset
    • A Sample of writing will be requested at the time of interview
