    Position Details:

    The Bilingual Associate, at Collections is responsible for the assessment and collection of past due accounts, maximizing payments from customers while preserving a healthy and respectful relationship with them.

    While the role mainly requires attending inbound calls, making outbound calls, and replying to emails from customers, other collections administrative tasks are required to achieve the individual and collective collections KPIs.

    The Associate will work the rotating shifts between the hours of 8 am to 8 pm and flexibility is required.

    Collect on active accounts in any stage of delinquency DPD) maximizing payment account
    Collect end-of-term billing on terminated accounts
    Collect on First Payment Default accounts and analyze for potential fraud
    Collect Missed First Payment accounts and fix the applicable procedural issue
    Recommend eligible accounts that are 45+ DPD for Notice of Default procedure
    2+ years experience as a Collections Analyst
    Knowledge of Canadian collection practices and regulations
    High school graduate, College Degree a plus
    Knowledgeable of effective collections techniques for late stage delinquent accounts
    Intermediate experience in MS Excel
    Must be able to read, write and speak in French
