    Description

    Forge Recruitment is proudly partnered with our client, a multi-national full-service law firm in their search for a legal assistant to join their busy Commercial Real Estate group.

    Reporting to the group's legal professionals and the Manager, Legal Assistant Services, the incumebent will be responsible for:
    Handling all manner of administrative duties, such as calendar management, coordination of meetings, travel arrangements, etc.;
    Preparing initial drafts of legal documents and correspondence according to precedents and/or instructions (drafting letters, revising draft documents, preparing document comparisons);
    Liaising with the Billing department for the monthly production of accounts;

    3+ years' experience supporting a commercial real estate practice; Successful completion of a legal assistant or law clerk designation from an accredited institution
    ~ In-depth understanding of business and legal terminology as it pertains to commercial real estate law
    ~ Technically proficient in the use of MS Office Suite, 3E, Teraview, DocuSign and a DMS
