    Job Description

    We are looking for an Afternoon Shift Production Team Lead for our shipping and receiving department who will be versatile and ensure the production plan is fully achieved on time and in compliance with internal and external requirements including safety and environmental needs.

    What your responsible for:

    • Dealing with daily obstacles. Must be able to motivate employees and ensure compliance with the organization's objectives, regulations, and procedures.
    • Responsible for all afternoon shipping and receiving activity; this includes weighing, grading and dumping all inbound loads
    • Communicating variances or discrepancies via email to the NF team and the account managers
    • Coordinating, organize and supervise his/her team in order to carry out the various day-to-day activities of operations and to ensure that the schedule is followed.
    • Entering all relevant information into our database
    • Taking the necessary measures to protect health and safety to prevent work-related accidents.
    Qualifications
    • No metal scrap experience needed but experience in industrial environment required
    • Shipping and receiving experience a must
    • You have strong communication skills, can take initiative and lead a team.
    • You have strong health and safety skills.
    • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
