    Job Description

    Insight Global is looking for a Test Specialist to join a top automotive client on a contract basis. This resource will be joining the software development team specifically apart of a small team of developers working on the infotainment system. You will be responsible for providing manual coverage including test plan design, test case design, test execution, bug reporting on embedded, mobile, or consumer electronic platforms. You will also be involved in the development of automated test code in Python to verify new feature functionality.

    2+ years of Software test experience

    2+ years experience developing UI automation scripts in Python, or Java Manual testing experience (test execution, bug reporting, etc) Experience testing for automotive

    Nice to Have Skills & Experience

    Embedded operating systems (Linux, Unix, QNX)

    Experience with bus communication protocols such as CAN and LIN, with a knowledge of debugging tools such as Canlyzer Experience with communication protocols: CAN, TCP/IP, USB, Bluetooth, Ethernet, and/or Wi-Fi

    Benefit packages for this role will start on the 31st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching.
