HARROW
(1.5 SPUDS)

This is an Aussie series that | started watching
about three years ago. It lasted two seasons and
then got picked up by Disney who | assume
funded a third season.

The first two seasons of this series were pret-

ty good. The Harrow character was a forensaic
pathologist who liked to play detective. He was
good friends with a real detective who indulged
him and together they solved some interesting
and complex cases.

On the personal side, the Daniel Harrow char-
acter was divorced, lived on a boat and had a
daughter who lived on the street with an
Aboriginal boyfriend.

The third season, for some strange reason got
very complex with a main thread of Harrow
having a son he didn’t know about. For some
reason loan Gruffudd does a lot of over-emoting
and the story line gets a bit muddy and cluttered
as well. It kinda felt | ike a whole other series.
But to quote the great Jim Steinman, ‘Two out of
three ain’t bad’.

If you are not willing to risk, you are not willing to win.

In C.S. Lewis' classic tale - The Lion, The Witch and the Wardrobe (Before Disney got hold of it), there is a classic line where Lucy asks Mr. Beaver about the most powerful creature for good - Aslan the Lion. · She asks (my paraphrase) "Is he safe?" · To which the Mr. Beaver rep ...
