THE REAL SCARINESS OF PUTIN

Putin's army continues its relentless attack on Ukraine.
An attack that was unprovoked and which most of the
free world has seen as dastardly in the extreme.

The Ukrainian people are fighting for all they are
worth. They are well equipped with weapons from the EU,
Britain and America. But there isn't a sane person on the
planet who believes they will stave off this onslaught.

The real question is what happens in the aftermath. Be-
cause life in Russia would very much appears to also have
become a bag of shit.

Their stock market is closed. Protestors are arrested
in droves. Their access to money has been cut off. Their
supplies are dwindling. Many of their people are fleeing to
Finland. You could easily argue that while they may
succeed in capturing a small country, things in their
homeland are quickly going from bad to worse.

People from every level of Russian society have pleaded
with Putin to stop this senseless attack, but to no avail.
He says nothing. Hides himself behind layers of loyal
protection and keeps on stepping up the assault.

What the world realizes is that all along the way, he
has overstepped the bounds of both decency and legality
in this assault. He has killed thousands of innocent peo-
ple. destroyed thousands of homes, wrecked monuments,
bombed nuclear facilities, sent special forces troops into
walk the streets in civilian clothes, killing indiscriminately.
The list of ‘war crimes’ he has committed is as long as
your arm. But he continues this siege undaunted, because
he knows that the last thing the world wants is another
massive war.

Sadly he is crazy enough to push all of this past the
limits, But though he may be insane, he’s not stupid. He
knows exactly how badly fucked he is. But he doesn't
seem to care. And that’s what's so damn scary about him.
