Occupation Vs Invasion

Occupation Vs Invasion

EE
OCCUPATION vs INVASION...REALLY?

The Russian invasion of Ukraine has begun. They
are moving troops into two former eastern
provinces, that have declared independence and
which Putin has acknowledged.

Funny nobody asked the Ukraine about that.

So the big question that every leader in the
world is now asking is a real hair splitter..Is this an
invasion or simply an occupation?

If it’s an invasion then a whole host of big time
sanctions will kick in and start making Russia's life
miserable.

If it’s just an occupation, well that's OK then.

This is completely asinine. And the so called
democracies of the world sound like a bunch of
fools who brought knives to a gun fight.

Of course this is an invasion!

What else could it be’

And if Putin isn’t sanctioned and sanctioned hard
over this, a guy like him will think he can get away
with all kinds of other skullduggery.

Wake up. This is the world's chance to head off a
major splatterfest and, at the very least, let the
Russians know that what they are doing is wrong
and not without serious consequences.

But with the way the world is these days,
nobody knows what will happen next.

World War II? Sure why not. Kill more people
over one guy's egomania.

The world has been falling for this same shit for
centuries. And nobody ever seems to learn any-
thing.

Reality Sucks Sometimes, Eh?
