THE CANADIAN REPORT (Saturday April 23) Well, spring is sure threatening to be sprung, but as yet. it's still in the bottle up here in the Great White North. | sup- pose one day it'll show up. | can wait. Caught a little of that imbecilic Marjorie Taylor Green, down in Georga lying her ass off about her part in the events of January 6th. How could | tell she was lying? Well, the dead giveaway was that her lips were moving. And what she didn't lie about she chimed she couldn't remember. This is what we call weaseling. And it was probably something her lawyer advised her to do, which is where the idea of killing all the lawyers came from. If she takes the fifth, she opens up a can of worms on herself. So she adamantly chims she didn't say something and then the inquisitor hauls out a recording of her saying it and she’s like, duh. | mean, there has to be some kind of penalty for lying your ass off about what was essentially an act of treason against her government, right? Hey this is America, right, land of the free home of the brave, where all men were created equal, eh? Somehow I'm having alot of trouble seeing that. The crazy ass brainfart of the week. though. goes to good old Mr Musk who was quote extensively as saying that every American could afford to pay $100.000 for a flight to space. Let that sink in, especially if you are an Elon Muskie. First of all, close to half the people in America are living pay- check to paycheck. and don't have a clue where the money would come from if something weird should happen. like their car dying or somebody in their family getting sick. And here is this entitled little mulu-billionaire spouting platitudes that only demonstrate how out of touch with reality the rich very quickly become. And last but not least. there's a new Conservative politician blowing hot air around the country, vying for the leadership of his party. He's Pierre Poilievre. (or Pete Polarbear as I like to call him. He's been around nibbling at the edges of authoritarianism for the last 20 years. He's a little too far gone into Rightwingtand for a lot of us Canuks.
