CPC Review: Spooks

SPOOKS (3 Spuds on Prime) I have honestly been looking high and low on the streamers for any series worth watching, and maybe I'm just too damn fussy, but there’s very little out there that really grabs my attention and keeps me with it for any lenght of time. So while I wait for some miracles to manifest, I go back to my big three. The Mentalist (Prime), The Blacklist (Netflix) and Spooks (Prime). This week I'm all about Spooks, which to me is one of the all time great thriller series that has come out of Britain. There are 10 seasons and it’s all just flat out power. You get exhausted just watching this stuff. There is so much going on in each episode that you really have to immerse yourself in it, and when you do, it’s a real treat. There’s nothing subtle happening here, just balls-to-the-wall action mixed in with healthy doses of Brit politics and all that comes with it. There are 10 full seasons this stuff, that starts strong and just keeps on truckin’.
