    Location: West Vancouver

    Summary:

    Reporting to the President, the Human Resources Business Partner (HRBP) offers comprehensive HR support to the business. Collaborating with business leaders and managers, the HRBP crafts people solutions that aid in achieving the business unit strategy while ensuring alignment with corporate objectives. They collaborate with management at all levels to proactively enable positive business outcomes through effective HR strategies.

    As a Human Resources Business Partner, you will:

    • Workforce Planning
      • Collaborate with division leaders on strategic and annual plans at the business unit level
      • Translate business needs into short, medium, and long-range workforce plans
      • Develop and update job profiles and create recruitment strategies for upcoming roles
    • Talent Attraction, Recruitment & Selection
      • Evaluate the alignment of recruitment needs with workforce plans
      • Develop competency-based interviewing and scoring frameworks, conduct interviews, and negotiate offers
    • Onboarding
      • Create role-specific onboarding plans for new hires in collaboration with Managers
      • Design programs to facilitate the smooth integration of new talent
    • Employee Development
      • Analyze talent evaluation and performance reviews to identify high potentials, strengths, development needs, and gaps
      • Support managers through performance management and talent evaluation cycles
    • Retention & Engagement
      • Participate in Employee Committees, develop action plans based on feedback to strengthen the employer's position
    • Employee Relations
      • Support Operations with best practices and policy interpretation
      • Handle all employee investigations
    • Change Management
      • Proactively adapt HR delivery to support business changes
      • Identify and apply best practices across business units
    • Corporate Governance
      • Ensure compliance with legal and contractual obligations
      • Design measures for mitigating risks by involving stakeholders

    You will bring:

    • A degree or diploma in Business Administration and/or Human Resources
    • 7+ years of HR experience, with 5 years in an HR Generalist role
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and HRIS
    • Ability to influence and work with diverse groups
    • Experience in structured and unstructured organizations
    • High energy, work ethic, and results-oriented
    • Knowledge of Labor relations, employment standards, and human rights legislation
    • Willingness to travel
