    Regular Part time
    Description

    Job Description

Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children from the very beginning of their journey? At Mount Sinai Hospital's Neonatal Follow-Up Clinic, we are seeking a dedicated Speech Language Pathologist eager to join a team where innovation meets compassionate care.

You'll engage directly in the developmental stages of infants who have had critical starts in life. This unique position offers the opportunity to specialize in pediatric developmental assessment, including Bayley Scales of Infant Development and the Mullen Scales of Early Learning.

    Is this you?
You are a self-directed and energetic professional with a passion for pediatric care and an unwavering commitment to the families you serve. With a solid foundation in language acquisition and child development from birth to five years, you are eager to apply your expertise in diagnosing and strategizing communication solutions for infants with developmental challenges. You thrive in a vibrant clinical setting where teaching and mentoring intertwine with patient care.

Your impeccable organizational skills allow you to manage a varied caseload efficiently while remaining adaptable to the ever-evolving needs of your patients and the clinic. Educating and empowering parents and caregivers comes naturally, as you guide and support them throughout their child's developmental journey. You are looking for a role that not only challenges you professionally but also provides avenues to innovate and shape the future of speech-language pathology.

This role is designed to foster your growth as a specialist. You'll contribute to program development and engage in ongoing professional development activities, ensuring your career continually advances towards your goals.
