    The Role

As the Talent Acquisition Specialist, you are a passionate, tech loving, social media savvy, Recruitment Expert and Social Networker. In this hybrid role, you focus on full cycle recruitment and building critical skill pipelines. You play an integral role in supporting an impactful employer brand to increase our talent attraction efforts around the globe.     In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Manage and improve the full cycle recruitment process for jobs around the globe, including drafting role descriptions, job ads, and pre-screening.
  • Enhance and train on our high-quality screening and selection process, continually testing for effectiveness.
  • Create and manage an exceptional Candidate Experience, including for the candidates.
  • Build Seequent's talent pipeline and recruit through various channels.
  • Help to create and execute innovative Employer Brand strategies.
  • Attend both in-person and virtual career fairs to attract candidates.
  • Act as the social media "Brand Ambassador"; Manage the employer brand through effective social media, including Glassdoor, LinkedIn, and Seequent's career page. Look for innovative ways to promote Seequent.
  • Acquire, report, and leverage competitive intelligence for hard to fill roles.
  • Play an active role in building company culture through the organization of social networking events.
  • Serve as a subject matter expert in local job markets, interpreting trends and compensation packages
    Create and manage Post-Secondary recruitment initiatives (co-ops, interns, career fairs and scholarship
    initiatives).
  • In order to be successful in this role, you should have:

  • This position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in full-cycle, high volume recruitment within a medium sized corporate environment. 3 to 5 years of agency recruitment experience as well is an asset.
  • Diploma in Human Resources or related field or achievement of or working towards an HR Professional designation.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver creative and innovative proactive candidate sourcing strategies and techniques, including a successful track record of sourcing passive candidates.
  • Experience using an applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Experience with LinkedIn Recruiter.
  • Proven planning and project management skills and capability.
  • Detailed oriented with a focus on flawless execution.
  • Solid team player who promotes a culture of professionalism, integrity, quality and teamwork.
  • Ability to prioritize workload in a fast-paced environment.
  • Highly motivated self-starter who takes initiative with minimal supervision.
