    Our client is a leading distributor of building materials across North America, with a strong presence in the U.S. and Canada. They prioritize safety, customer satisfaction, and integrity. They are seeking a Purchaser to join their team at the Branch in Delta, BC

    In this role, you will manage the purchasing department, overseeing activities like inventory coordination, pricing administration, and vendor negotiations.

    You'll work closely with the Branch Manager to ensure customer satisfaction and effective inventory control.

    Key responsibilities include negotiating with vendors to secure quality products at competitive prices, coordinating with the Branch Manager on customer satisfaction and inventory control, and managing stock inventory efficiently.

    You'll also analyze market conditions, stay updated on industry trends, and ensure timely delivery of materials.

    Additional duties include supporting our company values in Safety, Customer Focus, Teamwork, and Integrity, completing other assigned tasks, and passing required screenings after a conditional employment offer.


    The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and negotiation skills, strong organizational abilities, and proficiency in Microsoft Office. A minimum of three years of experience in the Building Materials Industry or construction is preferred.
