    Description
    Airswift is looking for an Engineering Procurement Oversight Advisor to join a leading Oil & Gas client on a contract spanning 18 months. This position will be based in Calgary, AB.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee Company's procurement functions across multiple Engineering & Procurement (EP) firms based on the Company's EP Oversight Responsibility Matrix
    • Develop procurement plans/strategy documents and ensure adherence to timelines & deliverables by EP Procurement group
    • Ensure compliance of all Company's procurement practices and procedures in all EP procurement activities on behalf of the Company
    • Maintain standardized procurement processes and templates with all EP Procurement groups working for the Company
    • Identify and address potential procurement risks (cost and schedule) with EP and Company's Project Management Team
    • Review and approve documents like Project Procurement Plans/Strategies, Bid Lists, Bid Waivers, and Commercial Bid Tabulations prepared by EPs
    • Participate in Procurement status update meetings with EP and the Company Project Management Team
    • Facilitate communication among SCM, project management, and suppliers to resolve Purchase Order issues
    • Offer guidance and leadership to EP Procurement teams during supplier negotiations for materials/services
    • Collaborate with Company's Project Management Teams during negotiations with suppliers
    • Cultivate positive supplier relationships, ensuring effective management of Purchase Orders
    • Work closely with team and stakeholders to meet outcomes as per schedule
    • Explore and engage with potential new suppliers, including site visits and audits

    Qualifications

    • Minimum 3 years of Supply Chain experience
    • Experience in procuring goods/materials like pipe, valves, fittings, E&I material, packaged equipment, pumps, vessels, and structural steel
    • Proficient in Change Management, Claim Management, Risk Management, and Financial Management
    • Solid knowledge of ERP SAP
    • Prior experience in Projects in the Oil & Gas sector
    • Familiarity with pre-award (RFx) through post-award processes for procuring goods
    • Strong focus on results while ensuring safety and quality performance by contractors
    • Proficiency in MS Office applications
    • Ability to travel within Calgary
    • Post-secondary education or SCMP certification considered an asset
    • Prior work experience in an Engineering Firm considered a bonus

    Work Schedule

    • Monday to Friday, 8-hour shifts, totaling 40 hours/week – option to work from home one day per week, either Mondays or Fridays
